Amy Shandy is a speech pathologist, community leader, and founder of the Shandy Clinic, an outpatient pediatric facility offering speech, occupational, and physical therapies. I’d like to take a moment and brag on behalf of Amy’s business because it was awarded the ‘Best of the Springs’ and ‘Best Workplace’ by the Colorado Springs Gazette multiple times. Amy has always prioritized giving back, both to her local Colorado Springs community and to those living across the globe – people she has never even met. After retiring from the Shandy Clinic four years ago, she became dedicated to volunteering with Compel Global, a non-profit that supports missionaries across the world. In addition, she has also served as coach for her son’s soccer and basketball teams. Amy is married to Ty, an Air Force Academy graduate, and together they have two sons, Both D20 graduates. Grant and Mason attended Eagleview Middle and Air Academy High Schools. Amy has a high drive for results, she asks great questions and is keenly focused on academic growth and excellence. She is both kind and courageous and has a heart for connecting with and working for our students and staff.
