Academy School District 20Derrick is the founder and Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Black Conservatives and People of Color Capitol Interns, which is a program that provides ethnic-minority college students from across the United States paid internships on Capitol Hill. He has served as a faculty adjunct in the undergraduate school of business at the University of Phoenix’s San Jose California campus and has written three books. He has also been published by multiple internet news sites including American Thinker, Daily Caller, Townhall, CNS News, and more. He speaks at conferences, conventions, rallies, universities, and political gatherings across the U.S. Derrick believes the ability to focus on all aspects of academic excellence, while working with a team of people who share the same commitment can make a positive difference for future generations.
