Linda Sexton, representing District #5 for the Norman Public Schools Board of Education, who claimed that unmasked children in schools could murder each other. At a board meeting on August 9, 2021, Sexton pushed back against Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt’s ban on school districts implementing mask mandates.  Sexton stated, “It’s just not OK for kids to commit murder by coming to school without a mask.”
