Melanie is an Information Technology Specialist employed at Auburn University since 2004. Mrs. Chambless is a lifelong resident of Auburn, AL, as well as a proud alumna of both Auburn High School (’99) and Auburn University (’04). Her desire to help assure that all children in this community achieve academic excellence bolstered by highly skilled educators offering challenging instruction, has brought her to this great journey. Mrs. Chambless hopes that by serving on the board she will be able to give back to the school system that so generously provided exceptional guidance for her as a former student. Mrs. Chambless is married to Jesse J. Chambless, Jr. and they have three children, Jaden, Harper and Charlotte.
