Paradise Valley Unified School District

Tony Pantera’s father, a lifelong educator in the Scottsdale school system, inspired him to go into the field of education.

Mr. Pantera earned a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in Special Education and later earned his Master’s in Elementary Education.

He has taught and lived in the district for 43 years. He taught elementary special education, third grade, fifth grade, and gifted education during that time. His children and grandson all attended PVSchools.

He is a former Paradise Valley Education Association officer and a lifetime member of the Arizona Education Association.

Mr. Pantera continues to be involved with the community through organizations like Elks Lodge 335,  Arizona PTA, Pat Tillman Post 117, his church, and as a Boy Scout leader. He has advocated his entire life for public schools and the betterment of children.
