Acton Agua Dulce Unified School District
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Acton Agua Dulce Unified School District (AADUSD) has over 1650 students distributed among five campuses.
AADUSD is enforcing masks and COVID-protocols for all students and staff in accordance with policies set forth by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
In March of 2021, the AADUSD agreed to a $726,606 settlement following a San Diego Court ruling over millions of dollars of charter school fraud throughout California. The district had collected significant fees for oversight work they did not perform, lied about enrollment numbers, forged documents and manipulated government regulators by having people misrepresent themselves as CEOs of separate schools, all in an effort to gain public funds.
