EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
West Linn-Wilsonville School District is located in Tualatin, Oregon. The district has 17 total schools in operation with nearly 10,000 students enrolled.
WLWSD is following the Executive Order set in place by Democrat Governor Kate Brown. The mandate forces all students, staff, and visitors to wear a mask when inside school buildings, and when outdoors. The mandate is in effect regardless of vaccination status. Governor Brown has also mandated that all staff and teachers must obtain the COVID-19 vaccine.
WLWSD has an Equity Policy. According to the district website, “The West Linn-Wilsonville School District believes strongly in equity, a trait that is an integral component of our District Goals. We are committed to ensuring all students have every opportunity to reach their full potential, we embrace our students’ diversity, and we care deeply about supporting all students and families. West Linn-Wilsonville staff teach our students daily to appreciate and respect differences, listen to all perspectives, and engage in inclusive practices both inside and outside the classroom.”
