On May 20, 2022, the Whitefish Bay School District sent a letter to parents announcing that masks would be required in all schools starting Monday, May 23rd. The district stated that masks would be required whenever Milwaukee County has a “high” level of community transmission or in individual schools if the percentage of positive cases reaches 3% or more. The Milwaukee County Community Level and School Positivity Rates will be revisited on May 27th to decide if mandatory masking will continue.
